A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. An additional tax for the benefit of Canfield Local School District for the purpose of current expenses that the county auditor estimates will collect $5,715,791 annually, at a rate not exceeding 5.9 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $207 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 5.9-mill, 5-year property tax (about $5.7 million a year) for Canfield Local School District current expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
