A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. A renewal of a tax for the benefit of City of Canfield for the purpose of providing and maintaining motor vehicles and other equipment used directly in the operation of the police department and the payment of salaries of police personnel, that the county auditor estimates will collect $812,524 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.9 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $82 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
