A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Lowellville Local School District for the purpose of general permanent improvements, that the county auditor estimates will collect $224,058 annually, at a rate not exceeding 4 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $107 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 4-mill, 5-year property tax (about $224,058 a year) for Lowellville Local School District permanent improvements.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
