A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Village of New Middletown for the purpose of the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges, that the county auditor estimates will collect $44,786 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $39 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.5-mill, 5-year property tax (about $44,786 a year) for New Middletown streets, roads and bridges.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
