A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Springfield Township for the purpose of current expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $135,515 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $15 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.5-mill, 5-year property tax (about $135,515 a year) for Springfield Township current expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
