A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Marion County for the purpose of operation of programs and services by the Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities and for the acquisition, construction, renovation, financing, maintenance, and operation of developmental disabilities facilities that the county auditor estimates will collect $4,029,211 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $67 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a 3-mill, 5-year county property tax (about $4.03 million a year) for the Marion County Board of Developmental Disabilities' programs and facilities.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
