A renewal of a tax for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, appliances, buildings, or site as set forth in, and authorized by, R.C. 5705.19(a) that the county auditor estimates will collect $40,271 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $24 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax (about $40,271 a year) for fire apparatus, buildings and sites in Salt Rock Township.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
