City of Wadsworth fire levy (renewal and decrease)

A renewal of part of an existing levy, being a reduction of 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, to constitute a tax for the benefit of the City of Wadsworth for the purpose of providing and maintaining fire apparatus, mechanical resuscitators, underwater rescue and recovery equipment, or other fire equipment and appliances, buildings and sites therefor or sources of water supply and materials therefor, for the establishment and maintenance of lines of fire-alarm communications or for the payment of other related services as authorized by section 5705.19(I) of the Ohio Revised Code that the county auditor estimates will collect $315,700 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $11 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
