The question, as printed on the ballot
An additional tax for the benefit of the Westfield Joint Fire District for the purpose of fire and emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $802,600 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.1 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $109 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote adds a 3.1-mill, 5-year property tax for fire and emergency medical services in the Westfield Joint Fire District.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
