The question, as printed on the ballot
An additional tax for the benefit of Bedford Township for the purpose of fire protection and other emergency services, that the county auditor estimates will collect $17,676 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $17 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves an additional 0.5-mill, 5-year property tax for Bedford Township fire protection and other emergency services, estimated to collect $17,676 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
