A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Chester Township for the purpose of road improvement, that the county auditor estimates will collect $63,657 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $35 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax for Chester Township road improvement, estimated to collect $63,657 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
On the East Chester and West Chester ballots. Ballot heading: "Proposed Tax Levy (Renewal) Chester Township".
