An additional tax for the benefit of Meigs County, Ohio for the purpose of maintenance, capital construction, and operation for persons with cognitive and other developmental disabilities of the Meigs County Board of Developmental Disabilities, that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,201,518 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves an additional 2-mill, 5-year Meigs County property tax for the Meigs County Board of Developmental Disabilities, estimated to collect $1,201,518 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
