A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Township of Center for the purpose of Fire Protection that the county auditor estimates will collect $68,214 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.950 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $38 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.95-mill, 5-year property tax for Center Township fire protection, estimated to collect $68,214 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
