A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Mendon for the purpose of current operating expenses that the county auditor estimates will collect $10,296 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.6 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $33 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2.6-mill, 5-year property tax for Village of Mendon current operating expenses, estimated to collect $10,296 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
