The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the unincorporated areas of Concord Township for the purpose of fire protection, ambulance and emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $668,475 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.7 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 3.7-mill, 5-year property tax in unincorporated Concord Township for fire protection, ambulance and emergency medical services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
On the Concord North, East, West, South East and South ballots (not in Troy). Ballot heading: "Proposed Tax Levy (Renewal) Concord Township (Unincorporated)".
