A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Bethel Township for the purpose of fire protection, that the county auditor estimates will collect $7,783 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $16 for each $100,000 of the auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.5-mill, 5-year property tax for Bethel Township fire protection, estimated to collect $7,783 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
