The question, as printed on the ballot

An additional tax for the benefit of the Dayton City School District for the purpose of current operating expenses and general permanent improvements that the county auditor estimates will collect $14,619,014 annually, at a rate not exceeding 7 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $245 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote approves an additional property tax of up to 7 mills for the Dayton City School District's operating expenses and permanent improvements, for a continuing period.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the additional levy.
