The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of German Township for the purpose of providing or maintaining senior citizens services or facilities, that the county auditor estimates will collect $201,188 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $22 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a property tax of up to 1 mill for 5 years for German Township senior citizens services or facilities.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
