Shall the Ordinance providing for a 1 percent levy increase on income for the purpose of funding the police department and fire department operations; maintenance of equipment; acquisition of new equipment; including debt service charged thereon, beginning January 1, 2027 be passed?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote passes the ordinance increasing the City of Union's income tax by 1 percent, starting January 1, 2027, for police and fire operations, equipment and related debt service.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the income tax increase.
