The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Chesterville Village for the purpose of current operating expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $3,499 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $28 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax (about $3,499 a year) for Chesterville's operating expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
