A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Morrow County for the purpose of raising adequate funds for the provision, maintenance and operation of services and facilities for older citizens, that the county auditor estimates will collect $472,502 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $11 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.5-mill, 5-year county property tax (about $472,502 a year) for services and facilities for older citizens.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
