An additional tax for the benefit of Brush Creek Township for the purpose of providing fire protection, ambulance or emergency medical services, underwater rescue and recovery equipment, that the county auditor estimates will collect $65,849 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $18 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote adds a 0.5-mill, 5-year Brush Creek Township property tax (about $65,849 a year) for fire protection and emergency medical services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
