An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of South Zanesville for the purpose of providing fire protection and ambulance or emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $110,187 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $105 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote adds a 3-mill, 5-year South Zanesville property tax (about $110,187 a year) for fire protection and ambulance or emergency medical services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
