A renewal of 0.4 mill and an increase of 0.2 mill for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax for the benefit of Noble County for the purpose of providing or maintaining senior citizens services or facilities including the Noble County senior nutrition program, medical escort and transportation service, maintenance and operation of the Noble County Senior Center that the county auditor estimates will collect $498,939 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.6 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $60 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews 0.4 mill and adds 0.2 mill, for a 0.6-mill, 5-year county property tax for senior citizens services and facilities, estimated to collect $498,939 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal and increase.
