The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Ottawa County for the purpose of providing necessary requirements of the County's alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health joint county service district, that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,482,063 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.7 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $25 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 10 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.7-mill, 10-year Ottawa County property tax for the alcohol, drug addiction and mental health joint county service district, estimated to collect $1,482,063 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
