The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Village of Genoa for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and improving Veterans Memorial Park that the county auditor estimates will collect $46,397 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.3 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $28 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.3-mill, 5-year property tax to operate, maintain and improve Genoa's Veterans Memorial Park, estimated to collect $46,397 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
