The question, as printed on the ballot

A renewal of part of an existing levy, being a reduction of 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, to constitute a tax for the benefit of Village of Marblehead for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges in municipal corporations and for constructing, rehabilitating, repairing, or maintaining sidewalks, walkways, trails, bicycle pathways, or similar improvements, or acquiring ownership interests in land necessary for the foregoing improvements that the county auditor estimates will collect $250,800 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $35 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote renews part of an existing levy, reduced by 1 mill, as a 1-mill, 5-year tax for Marblehead streets, roads, bridges and sidewalks, estimated to collect $250,800 a year.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
