The question, as printed on the ballot

Shall the Ordinance providing for a 0.5 per cent levy increase, for a total of one and one-half percent, on income for providing police protection, and street and sidewalk improvements, terminating existing property tax levies for those same purposes, while also allowing a one-half of one percent credit against additional tax be passed?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote passes the ordinance raising Oak Harbor's income tax by 0.5% to 1.5% for police and street and sidewalk improvements, ending existing property tax levies for those purposes.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the ordinance.

On the Salem 1, 2 and 3 Oak Harbor ballots. Choices: For the Income Tax / Against the Income Tax.
