The question, as printed on the ballot
An additional tax for the benefit of Latty Township for the purpose of providing protection against fire, maintaining fire equipment & apparatus & support fire rescue services, that the county auditor estimates will collect $49,826 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.25 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $44 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 1.25-mill, 5-year property tax for Latty Township fire protection, fire equipment and fire rescue services, estimated to collect $49,826 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
