A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Bearfield Township for the purpose of maintaining and operating a cemetery, that the county auditor estimates will collect $56,732 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $9 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax (about $56,732 a year) to maintain and operate a cemetery in Bearfield Township.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
