A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Corning for the purpose of providing and maintaining a police department, equipment and personnel, that the county auditor estimates will collect $21,512 annually, at a rate not exceeding 5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $155 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 5-mill, 5-year property tax (about $21,512 a year) for the Village of Corning's police department.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
