An additional tax for the benefit of the Village of Somerset for the purpose of current expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $61,173 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2.1 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $74 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 2.1-mill, 5-year property tax (about $61,173 a year) for the Village of Somerset's current expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
