The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of New Holland for the purpose of maintaining and operating a cemetery, that the county auditor estimates will collect $8,562 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $15 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1-mill, 5-year property tax (about $8,562 a year) to maintain and operate a cemetery in New Holland.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
The village is in Pickaway and Fayette counties; the Pickaway County board certified the issue.
