A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Williamsport for the purpose of providing ambulance service, emergency medical service, or both, that the county auditor estimates will collect $101,403 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.65 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $96 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 3.65-mill, 5-year property tax (about $101,403 a year) for ambulance and emergency medical service in Williamsport.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
