The question, as printed on the ballot

An additional tax for the benefit of Pike County for the purpose of the developmental disabilites programs and services, including but not limited to, The Kemper Connection school-age program, as authorized by Ohio Revised Code Chapter 5126, and for acquisition, construction, renovation, financing, maintenance, and operation of facilities of the Pike County Board of Developmental Disabilities that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,327,292 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote approves a new 2-mill, 5-year Pike County property tax for developmental disabilities programs, services and facilities, estimated to collect $1,327,292 a year.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the additional levy.

On every Pike County ballot. Ballot heading: "Proposed Tax Levy (Additional) Pike County". Choices: For the Tax Levy / Against the Tax Levy. ("disabilites" is spelled as on the ballot.)
