The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Hiram Village for the purpose of current expenses, that the county auditor estimates will collect $38,938 annually, at a rate not exceeding 4.4 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $99 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 4.4-mill, 5-year property tax (about $38,938 a year) for Hiram Village's current expenses.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
