A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Jackson Township for the purpose of fire protection and ambulance/emergency service, that the county auditor estimates will collect $70,260 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $47 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 3-year property tax for Jackson Township fire protection and ambulance/emergency service, estimated to collect $70,260 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
