The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Preble County for the purpose of providing and maintaining senior citizen services and facilities by and through the Preble County Council on Aging, Inc. or its successor, that the county auditor estimates will collect $1,558,850 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $39 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.5-mill, 5-year Preble County property tax for senior citizen services and facilities through the Preble County Council on Aging, estimated to collect $1,558,850 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
