The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Continental for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of streets, roads and bridges in the village, that the county auditor estimates will collect $34,000 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $48 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax for construction and repair of Continental's streets, roads and bridges, estimated to collect $34,000 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
