A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Jackson Township for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of roads, that the county auditor estimates will collect $163,050 annually, at a rate not exceeding 5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $116 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 5-mill, 5-year property tax for construction, resurfacing and repair of Jackson Township roads, estimated to collect $163,050 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
