The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Monroe Township excluding the Village of Lucas for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of roads and bridges, that the county auditor estimates will collect $63,072 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.75 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $26 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for a period of 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.75-mill, 5-year property tax for Monroe Township roads and bridges outside Lucas, estimated to collect $63,072 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
