The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Sandusky Township, excluding the Village of Crestline and the City of Galion, for the purpose of general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing and repair of township roads and bridges, that the county auditor estimates will collect $45,812 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $53 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.5-mill, 5-year property tax for Sandusky Township roads and bridges outside Crestline and Galion, estimated to collect $45,812 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
