A renewal of part of an existing levy, being a reduction of 1 mill for each $1 of taxable value, to constitute a tax for the benefit of Nile Township for the purpose of providing police protection that the county auditor estimates will collect $135,775 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $70 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 3 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews part of an existing levy, reduced by 1 mill, as a 2-mill, 3-year property tax for Nile Township police protection, estimated to collect $135,775 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal and decrease.
