A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Porter Township for the purpose of providing personnel and equipment expenditures associated with road maintenance, that the county auditor estimates will collect $109,335 annually, at a rate not exceeding 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $12 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 0.5-mill, 5-year property tax for road maintenance personnel and equipment in Porter Township, estimated to collect $109,335 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
