A renewal of a tax for the benefit of City of Portsmouth for the purpose of providing for the operations, maintenance of equipment and capital improvements of street resurfacing, that the county auditor estimates will collect $382,516 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $39 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 1.5-mill, 5-year property tax for Portsmouth's street resurfacing operations, equipment and improvements, estimated to collect $382,516 a year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
