The question, as printed on the ballot
A renewal of the existing 1.2 mills and an increase of 0.3 mill for a total of 1.5 mills tax for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax for the benefit of Green Township for the purpose of providing ambulance and emergency medical services that the county auditor estimates will collect $33,124 annually, at a rate not exceeding 1.5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $28 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews 1.2 mills and adds 0.3 mill, for a 1.5-mill, 5-year property tax for Green Township ambulance and emergency medical services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal and increase.
