A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Houston Joint Ambulance District for the purpose of providing ambulance and emergency medical services, that the county auditor estimates will collect $218,679 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $50 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax for Houston Joint Ambulance District ambulance and emergency medical services.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
