A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Alliance City School District for the purpose of constructing, adding to, renovating, remodeling, rehabilitating, improving, furnishing and equipping buildings for school purposes and acquiring, improving, and equipping school sites, that the county auditor estimates will collect $317,547 annually, at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $17 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 2-mill, 5-year property tax (about $317,547 a year) for Alliance City School District buildings and sites.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
