The question, as printed on the ballot
An additional tax for the benefit of Village of Beach City for the purpose of the general construction, reconstruction, resurfacing, and repair of streets, roads, and bridges, that the county auditor estimates will collect $98,308 annually, at a rate not exceeding 5 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $175 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves a new 5-mill, 5-year property tax (about $98,308 a year) for Beach City streets, roads and bridges.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the additional levy.
