A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Magnolia for the purpose of providing and maintaining equipment and permanent personnel in the operation of the police department, that the county auditor estimates will collect $30,969 annually, at a rate not exceeding 4 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $28 for each $100,000 of the county auditor’s market value, for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote renews a 4-mill, 5-year property tax (about $30,969 a year) for Magnolia's police department.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the renewal levy.
Magnolia lies in Stark and Carroll counties; voters in both parts see this question.
